2007-08 Honor Roll | Challengers
Young Alumni represent an extremely important group of Northwestern graduates, as you personify the modern-day Northwestern spirit. Your participation as contributors at any level sets the tone for the future of alumni giving. Gifts from Young Alumni also demonstrate the continued value of a Northwestern degree, while celebrating alumni friendships and career connections that span lifetimes.
Young Alumni support helps determine Northwestern's ability to innovate and grow, and increases the value of a Northwestern degree. Annual gifts improve Northwestern's ranking in U.S. News & World Report, as alumni participation is a key index in the rankings and impacts placement.
Young Alumni Challenge
ACT NOW! Participate in the 2007-2008 Young Alumni Challenge!
Northwestern Young Alumni are a powerful group within the larger Northwestern community. You can make a difference in how the Northwestern tradition continues and evolves. Your gifts to the Northwestern Annual Fund improve academic offerings, provide scholarship assistance, support faculty recruitment, and enhance spaces important to students.
This year and every year, it's all about acting together. When 2,750 Young Alumni who graduated between 1999 and 2007 make a gift this year, a select group of University trustees will
match your commitment with a dollar value – $150,000!
CONGRATULATIONS!
You reached the second goal of 1,500 gifts!
As a direct result of your success,
the Trustees Challengers have made another gift of
$25,000 to NU in your honor. This brings the total
Trustee match to $50,000 this year!
2007-2008 YOUNG ALUMNI CHALLENGE: PART III
The third deadline of the 2007-2008 Young Alumni Challenge
is July 1. If the total gifts from Young Alumni reaches 2,100 by then,
the Trustees will contribute yet another $25,000.
This year, make your gift go even further!
Make your gift to the area of the University that most closely matches your greatest interest – all gifts count toward the challenge. There is no minimum – gifts of any size count. Consider a gift of $25 - $50 - $75.
Support Your Area of Interest
You can contribute to the Northwestern Annual Fund while also supporting your area of greatest interest. Simply direct your gift to your school annual fund, University Library, Block Museum, Student Life, or Wildcat Athletics. You may also direct your gift to University Unrestricted or Undergraduate Scholarships.
Northwestern University Leadership Circle
The Northwestern University Leadership Circle is the new University-wide giving society, created to thank individuals who make leadership gifts to Northwestern. Leadership support from Young Alumni is especially valued. To recognize the commitment of Young Alumni, special levels of the Leadership Circle have been established.
Undergraduate alumni 0-4 (2004-2007) years out may join the Leadership Circle with a gift of $100 or more. Undergraduate alumni 5-9 (1995-2003) years out qualify for membership with a gift of $300 or more. Learn more about the Northwestern University Leadership Circle.
